Thahab questions the degree of assimilation allowed to muslim bodies x years after 9/11 and forces us to face the specter of fundamentalism, examining how that particular system of belief has overtaken the cartesian worldview. She engages with the representation of the body and the paradox of hypervisibility through absence.This series has been featured in exhibitions nationally and internationally in museums, festivals, and galleries, including a solo exhibition at the New Bedford Museum of Art (2018), Antwerp Queer Arts Festival, SPILL Performance Festival U.K., and featured in publications such as Phaidon's Art and Queer Culture(2019), Emergency Index Vol. 6&amp;7, The Guardian, The Washington Post.
